Hello,

My name is Tammy

My inspiration for naturopathy stemmed from an interest in Wholistic Health where a balanced approach of lifestyle factors, diet, exercise, past and family health history are all considered to form a preventative or treatment plan, involving the use of herbs, vitamins and homeopathy for a multitude of health complaints.

Whilst completing my four year degree (Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy) at the Southern School of Natural Therapies (Fitzroy, Melbourne), I completed many hours of observation within varying clinics around Melbourne. It was during this time that I observed that the consideration of the musculoskeletal health was extremely relevant and essential to complete the total picture of health assessment.

Hence my decision to simultaneously complete my Certificate of Remedial Massage during my 3rd and 4th year of my Naturopathy degree.

On returning to my home town Swan Hill I opened my own clinic in 1996 offering both Naturopathic and Massage services.

After 10 years of full-time practice my interest peaked towards Acupuncture. I attended RMIT(Bundoora Melbourne) 2006-2009 completing my Masters of Applied Science(Acupuncture) adding another complimentary realm of healing to my services, offered from a tradition Chinese medicine point of view.

After 25 years of practice I have found the above three modalities to completely compliment each other, addressing an incredibly broad range of health issues and providing a very balanced approach of care for a multitude of health complaints.

The benefits of naturopathy, massage and acupuncture is the consideration of a persons entire health history. Its linking systems and symptoms together, exploring and understanding their integrative relationships and how they influence and support each other
